Dr. Brian Guttormsen

Interventional Cardiologist

I enjoy working with my patients to explain complex heart disease in a way that can be understood and appreciated. This helps in making informed decisions regarding treatment options. Although interventional cardiology is my primary area of expertise, I’m happy to have conversations about all areas of cardiology.

What I enjoy about being in this field is the learning goes on and on. Things I do today weren’t even available when I trained. These new discoveries and treatments provide opportunities to continue to grow and develop as a provider.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and four children. When time permits, I also enjoy watching the Wisconsin Badgers (particularly football and basketball), running, and reading.

Fun note: Our family has a four-legged member named Lily.
