Dr. Robert Wilson

Cardiologist

Becoming the first physician in the region to implant a biventricular pacemaker in 1985, Dr. Wilson is excited by the way cardiology continues to evolve as he follows all of the latest advancements.

Dr. Wilson earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed an internship there as well as a second internship at the United States Public Health Service Hospital. His residency training and fellowship were completed at the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He also has subspecialty certification in echocardiograohy and cardiovascular computed tomography.

Fun note: In his time away from work, Dr. Wilson likes to be outside golfing and rowing. Another favorite hobby of his is tinkering in the garage.
